Holding a record catalog of more than 30 albums in his prolific career, Elvis Costello is undoubtedly one of the music icons of this generation. Commonly referred to as the "other famous Elvis," Elvis Costello made a name for himself by giving his dedicated fans one hit after another. He is most commonly known for his songs "Alison," "Pump It Up," "Everyday I Write The Book," and his version of the Nick Lowe song, "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace Love and Understanding."
He has won multiple awards in his career, including two Grammy's in 1999 and 2020. In 2003, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in the year after, he was ranked by Rolling Stone as 80th among the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. With all these recognitions, we can say with conviction that he has achieved remarkable feats in his four-decade career in the industry.
At 67 years old, Elvis is still active in music and has never lost touch with his singing prowess and powerful guitar-slinging skills. In fact, he and his band, The Imposters, have announced their tour this summer behind their just-released album "A Boy Named If."
The tour will feature dates across North America this August and September and will stop at the famous Mountain Winery Amphitheater in California this August 27. Nick Lowe & Los Straitjackets will open the event, which will feature both old hits and new materials from Elvis and the band.
