Stephen Marley is a Jamaican-American musician and son of the legendary reggae artist and activist Bob Marley. Stephen is an eight-time Grammy Award winner, three times as a solo artist, twice as a producer of younger brother Damian Marley's Halfway Tree and Welcome to Jamrock albums, and a further three times as a member of his older brother Ziggy Marley's group Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers. In other words, Stephen not only lives up to his dad's legacy but has confidently carved out a legacy of his own, befitting the family name.
While Stephen plays music familiar to fans of reggae, he also has modernized the sound a bit through his work with other artists from different genres and generations, such as Pitbull, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu,Busta Rhymes,Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Chuck D, The Roots and Bone Thugs N Harmony.
