The Midsummer Mozart Festival is a San Francisco Bay Area Institution that brings esteemed local artists together. This seasonal concert is held every July and performs Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s work. Since 1974, the group has served a variety of solo, orchestral, chamber, and operatic concerts. The festival has featured renowned international soloists in the past, including William Klingelhoffer (french horn), Daniel Glover (piano), Thomas Hansen (piano), and many more. This year’s festival will feature some of Mozart’s most beloved masterpieces, such as “La finta giardiniera Overture, K. 196,” “The Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds in E-flat major, K,” “Lucio Silla Overture, K. 135,” and “Symphony No. 38 in D “Prague” K. 504.” The Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds in E-flat will feature musicians Laura Griffiths on oboe, Mark Bradenberg on clarinet, William Klingelhoffer on french horn, and Deborah Kramer on bassoon.
